Job summary

First Equipment Company is seeking an Experienced On-site Equipment Rental Program Coordinator to implement OERP, train staff, and manage daily on-site equipment activities on a traveling basis, starting on a project in Prineville, OR.

You will collaborate with project teams and vendors to optimize equipment use, track inventory, support software systems, and ensure reliable service across Bend project sites and yard operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited program and minimum of 2 years of experience in construction rentals, logistics, equipment, or warehouse management, or equivalent.
• Understanding of construction equipment, jobsite logistics, and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of financial principles and budget forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for project teams and on-site rental vendors to understand, confirm, and implement equipment needs.
• Visit project sites to manage on-site equipment requirements and transitions.
• Provide customer service and timely communication with stakeholders and vendors.
• Support for end-user systems troubleshooting related to rental software, inventory and contract management systems.
• Monitor utilization of rental equipment use and track vendor billing and invoice accuracy.
• Provide on-site equipment rental program preconstruction information, including equipment lists for bidding.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to promote reliability and high service standards.
• Travel as required on a full-time traveling basis.
