Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide office-based nursing care under provider direction. This role supports assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care, with emphasis on triage and timely nursing actions.

Travel between Hartford and Central region offices is required. CT licensure, prior medical/surgical office experience, and familiarity with medical software are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required.
• Previous experience in Medical/Surgical Office setting preferred.
• Experience with medical software.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a variety of clinical settings under provider direction.
• Collaborate with providers for office-based nursing care.
• Assess physical and psychosocial needs and plan care accordingly.
• Demonstrate independent nursing actions based on assessment.
• Triages telephone calls and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Assist patients and families with confidentiality and privacy.
• Travel between Hartford and Central region offices.
