NewGen Technologies is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage complex, multi-site Cisco-based networks across the country, with occasional international work.

You will work with Meraki and Cisco gear, develop architecture roadmaps, and produce documentation while coordinating with carriers and support teams. Strong troubleshooting, security focus, and government contracting experience are valued.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
• Public Trust Clearance
• 7+ years of related experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving
• Experience with major cloud providers preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Cisco, ISE, UCS, Infoblox, Riverbed and monitoring tools is desired

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, configure, and administer complex network environments across multiple geographic locations
• Work in a team with standardized solutions based on Cisco wired and wireless equipment across the country
• Create and update technical and process documentation
• Develop a roadmap to support future strategy and budgetary information
• Use Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams for transparency
• Coordinate with local exchange carriers during deployments
• Serve as after-hours Data Deployment Engineer SME for circuit installs
• Test and document new components during deployment and update asset management
• Verify delivery of components to ensure design and task statement compliance
• Manage relationships with manufacturers' technical support for analyses and training
• Plan for future strategy of network and provide budgetary information

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

CCNA/CCNP/ITIL v4 certifications
