Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking MT/PT/UTT Level II Technicians for opportunities in Birmingham, AL, and nearby areas.

This is a travel-intensive role with up to 90% travel across assigned regions and multiple industry environments including Petro-Chem, refineries, pipelines and pharmaceuticals. Successful candidates will hold a Level II NDT certification and have technical NDT knowledge, report-writing ability, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Level II MT/PT/UTT with NDT experience.
• Knowledge of NDT methods and procedures required.
• Demonstrated ability to write inspection reports clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Interpret radiographs and readouts, and report results clearly.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed during inspections.
• May supervise others and organize test results.
