Job summary

Acuren is seeking a NDT Level II Technician (MT/PT/UTT) to support operations in New Castle, DE. This is a CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION, requiring travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Requires Level II certification and a solid background in NDT methods with proficiency in reading radiographs and related instruments.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level II certification in MT, PT and UTT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Develop examination techniques ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts and meters.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Some college preferred
