Job summary

A technical services company is seeking a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician to support operations in Birmingham, AL. The position requires significant travel, up to 90% in the Augusta, GA area. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, Level II MT/PT/UTT certification, and a technical background in NDT methods. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college experience is preferred.
• Certification as Level II MT/PT/UTT is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Organize and report test results.

Skills

Technical background in NDT methods and procedures

Ability to interpret results of inspections

Experience in report writing

Knowledge of NDT equipment

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Some college preferred
