Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a well-established Real Estate Developer to lead a ground-up multifamily development in Lexington, KY, with future Midwest projects. This role is ideal for a Superintendent who enjoys travel and managing complex residential builds.

You will oversee field operations, coordinate trades, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality across phases from sitework to turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience preferred.
• Ground-up multifamily construction on projects $25M–$60M.
• Experience with apartment complexes, student housing, or large-scale residential developments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to travel Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Manage subcontractors, trades, site logistics, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate all phases of construction from sitework and foundations through final turnover.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and scheduling expectations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, developers, architects, and engineers.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings, inspections, and quality-control reviews.
• Manage punch lists, inspections, and project closeout.
• Maintain clear communication with project leadership regarding progress and milestones.

This organization combines development and construction under one roof, providing greater collaboration, streamlined decision-making, and the opportunity to work on projects from the ground up.

You'll take the lead on a ground-up multifamily development in Lexington, Kentucky, with future projects located throughout the Midwest.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
