Job summary

KCG Companies is seeking Construction Superintendents for large-scale ground-up wood-frame multi-family projects. This traveling role requires you to be stationed near job sites for 18–24 months across states like TX, GA, SC, VA, IN and OH, coordinating planning, scheduling, safety, quality and on-site logistics with project teams.

You will manage trades, permits and inspections, report progress to leadership, and ensure profitable delivery while maintaining high safety and site standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction superintendent experience.
• Preferred extensive wood frame experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Familiarity with Procore.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Detail- and deadline-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all construction operations, logistics and schedule functions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure standards.
• Manage permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities.
• Coordinate inspections with governmental officials for timely execution.
• Lead the project team with project managers and staff across disciplines.
• Oversee trade partners and suppliers for schedule, budget and safety.
• Evaluate progress using financial and schedule metrics and report to stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports on weather, manpower and safety.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and company health and safety standards.
• Maintain clean, secure and safe jobsite facilities.
