Job summary

Creature in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Multi-Skill Carpenter to execute commercial finish and rough carpentry across framing, ceilings, millwork, drywall, finishes, painting, and ICRA barriers on multi-state projects.

You will own your work area, protect quality at every phase, and deliver installations that don’t come back. The role requires full-time travel with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry across multiple installation types.
• Proficiency in metal and wood framing, ceiling grid and tile, millwork, drywall, painting, and ICRA barrier installation.
• Commercial project background required.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel full-time across multi-state project locations.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Own the safe, efficient, and accurate execution of commercial carpentry installations across multi-state projects.
• Move fluidly between scopes, eliminate waste, and deliver work that meets Creature's quality standard.
• Safety: ensure compliance with pre-task plans, hazard IDs, ICRA barriers, and Procore documentation.
• Labor, Material & Tool Management: stage and manage materials/tools, report shortages or damage fast.
• Accurate Time & Productivity Tracking: log time and production quantities daily in Procore.
• Ruthless Elimination of Waste: correct issues on the spot and prevent rework.
