McClatchy Media is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products across multiple stores in Lancaster, OH. The role requires frequent travel and adherence to a set weekday schedule, with essential merchandising responsibilities and strong communication skills.

Employment includes travel time compensation and a retention/referral bonus after 3 months. Must pass background checks and drug testing; reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
• Able to multitask and stay detail‑oriented.
• Professional conduct and adherence to attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel to multiple stores.
• Ability to use Movista or company-required apps.
• Own cell phone and mobile device; familiarity with Word/e‑mail tools.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: merchandise products to standard and replenish shelves safely.
• Service all stores on the established schedule; obtain approval before overtime.
• Record hours and information in designated systems.
• Coordinate duties with store personnel and supervisor as needed.
