Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Liberty Township, Ohio is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores with travel between accounts. This on-site role requires reliable transportation and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You will work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Merchandising, following planograms and store standards, recording hours and coordinating schedules.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising in a retail environment, following store and corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product and may assemble shelves/racks and display cases.
• Service all stores as scheduled; obtain approval for hours outside schedule.
• Record work hours and related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing those duties.
