Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time, on-site Merchandiser to service products across multiple stores. The role requires travel between accounts, with paid travel time and a schedule that covers designated weekdays.

Responsibilities include merchandising, replenishing stock, recording hours, and coordinating with the Supervisor of Merchandising for any overtime or duties outside of the schedule. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: work within a retail environment to merchandise products and replenish stock following store standards.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising.
• Record work hours and other company information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing those duties.
