Job summary

McClatchy Media Company seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service product across multiple stores in the Raleigh, NC area. The role requires extensive travel between accounts and adherence to schedule set by the Supervisor of Merchandising.

Responsibilities include merchandising to standard planograms, replenishing stock, and documenting hours using company apps. This position is on-site with travel up to 100%. Background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and stay detail-oriented.
• Reliable transportation for travel and attendance.
• Proficient with Word, internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising responsibilities in a retail environment.
• Service all designated stores per Supervisor's schedule.
• Record work hours and other information in designated systems.
• Coordinate with store personnel and Supervisor before overtime.
• Follow planograms and store standards.
