Job summary

McClatchy Media in Durham, NC is seeking a Merchandiser to manage in-store merchandising across multiple locations. This on-site, part-time role requires travel between accounts and adherence to a scheduled weekly routing.

You will service stores, replenish stock, and follow planograms while maintaining professional conduct. A background check and drug test are part of employment considerations. Travel will be extensive.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and attendance adherence.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Familiar with Movista and other required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to merchandise products by store and corporate standards, safely replenish product, and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided; obtain supervisor approval for overtime.
• Record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with store personnel and obtain supervisor approval before performing those duties.
