Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Merchandiser to visit customer locations using a personal vehicle, set displays per plan-o-grams, and optimize product placement to boost sales and profits. Must assess needs and report issues promptly.

Position features include travel up to 80%, a schedule Monday–Friday starting at 7 AM, and travel-related allowances. Strong customer service and independence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 6+ months merchandising experience
• Customer facing experience
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance and must be able to travel to customer locations
• Driver's license with clear driving record
• Frequent activity—will lift products weighing 5–25 lbs and up to 70 lbs with cases/totes.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at customer locations.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems and report to Sales/Manager when required.
• Maintain safe store aisles and equipment.
• Report hours to division on time sheets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
