Job summary

L.F. Driscoll Company, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Traveling MEP Superintendent to support data center projects across the Northeast and Midwest.

You’ll oversee field coordination, QA/QC, safety, and day-to-day supervision of subcontractors to ensure timely, cost-effective results. Responsibilities include scheduling, progress reviews with Project Managers, and enforcing project specifications and safety standards on multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in MEP or construction.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising subcontractors on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Reviews progress with Project Manager and client representatives; multi-site coordination.
• Enforces safety standards and ensures equipment and tools are operated safely.
• Directs subcontractor activities within ground-up projects and manages resources.
• Analyzes manpower, materials and equipment; interfaces requirements with supervision.
• Prepares reports/forecasts and informs supervisors on progress.

L. F. Driscoll, part of the STO Building Group, is looking to hire a Traveling MEP Superintendent to support our data center projects in the Northeast and Midwest regions. The Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effectivefield coordination, quality control andday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status
• Responsible for the timely and cost-effectivefield coordination, quality control andday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
• Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs sub-contractor activities within ground up construction projects
• Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management
• Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
• Coordination of Lock-out Tag-out with responsible subcontractors of utilities such as Nitrogen, Vacuum, Compressed Air, RODI, and Steam
• Manage QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications or requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of field experience.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well-developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.
