Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical, electrical, or plumbing projects from start to finish. Based in Richmond, VA, you will manage project teams, coordinate with field leadership, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while controlling costs.

You will build strong client relationships, supervise schedules, bids, change orders, and contracts, and drive profitability through effective project execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MEP project management.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, scheduling, bids, take-offs, and contracts.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and win projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing profitable project portfolios.
• Excellent initiative, execution, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale MEP projects from start to finish.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion.
• Collaborate with senior management to align project goals and execution strategies.
• Build and develop teams while delivering quality output within schedule and budget.
• Drive division profitability through effective project execution and cost control.
• Set and manage technical goals, scheduling benchmarks, procurement strategies, and staffing plans.
• Review contractual requirements and MEP design/installation methodologies.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project reviews with focus on financial forecasting and performance tracking.
• Ensure high-quality engineering, coordination, and delivery of MEP systems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage large-scale mechanical, or electrical, and or plumbing (MEP) projects from start to finish
• Lead project teams and coordinate with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion
• Collaborate with senior management to align project goals and execution strategies
• Build and develop strong teams while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing scope, and staying on schedule and within budget
• Drive division profitability through effective project execution and cost control
• Set and manage technical goals, scheduling benchmarks, procurement strategies, and staffing plans
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management systems and processes to meet client needs and business objectives
• Review contractual requirements and MEP-specific design and installation methodologies
• Ensure project schedules are met and adjust priorities based on evolving customer needs and resource availability
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead project reviews with a focus on financial forecasting and performance tracking
• Ensure high-quality engineering, coordination, and delivery of MEP systems
• Proactively communicate challenges, risks, and successes across all stakeholders

What You Need for this Position

• 3+ years of experience in MEP project management. Also looking for mechanical or electrical or Plumbing
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
• Proven ability to build client relationships and contribute to winning projects
• Demonstrated success in managing profitable project portfolios
• Excellent initiative, execution, and communication skills-both oral and written
• Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership abilities
