Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Traveling MEP PX to lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of MEP work on data center projects across the South region, with travel to sites as required. The role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $200,000 annually, plus a monthly travel stipend and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

You will guide project teams, manage risk, and ensure safety and quality while delivering complex construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Construction Management with 15+ years of MEP-related experience.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Experience leading MEP efforts on complex construction projects with progressive responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop operational plans for coordinating MEP work on multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead multiple MEP disciplines through preconstruction, facilitate project launches and communicate design and operations considerations.
• Collaborate with Turner entities to optimize project operations and expand services.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment of project teams to achieve goals.
• Engage on site with the project team to maintain activity continuity and define roles clearly.
• Guide teams to adopt Turner ethics, compliance programs, and risk management practices.
• Understand and manage contract obligations, notice provisions, and right to stop work.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, trades, and stakeholders.
