Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives to ensure project goals and expectations are met from initiation to completion.
• Ensure comprehensive understanding of contract documents, including contracts, plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Turner MEP staff, including performance appraisals.
• Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates.
• Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experience in design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems, or equivalent. Ability to identify design features that impact costs and suggest alternatives. Strong presentation skills. LEED accreditation preferred. Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency are required. Knowledge of project management and scheduling software is desirable. Leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and work in construction environments, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Vision and manual dexterity are required.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and chemicals. Moderate noise level. Accommodations available for disabilities.
