Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Mental Health Technician experience in a psychiatric/substance abuse setting.
• 3 years as nursing/patient care assistant with crisis management experience in hospital.
• BLS certification and NVCRISIS/CPI within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Record data and report observations and patient problems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.
• Assist with non-nursing tasks and may travel for home visits.
