Job summary

Luxor Scientific LLC in Nevada is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist / Traveling Phlebotomist to perform laboratory testing, collect and process specimens, and travel to designated off-site locations. The role combines lab work with direct patient care and requires adherence to CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and state regulations.

You will maintain accurate records, supervise specimen handling, and ensure specimen transport meets time and temperature requirements across clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field is required.
• Must meet Nevada General Supervisor qualifications under NAC 652.410.
• Must hold Nevada General Supervisor certificate and appropriate clinical lab personnel certification.
• Must possess the Nevada credentials required to perform phlebotomy.
• Experience performing laboratory testing, specimen collection, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing, specimen processing, and analysis within scope of practice.
• Prepare, analyze, and document laboratory specimens following procedures and regs.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection at clinic and off-site sites.
• Verify patient identity, label specimens, ensure proper handling and transport.
• Provide professional patient care, explain procedures, address concerns.
• Travel to assigned clinics and facilities while ensuring coverage.
