Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories / Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking patient-focused phlebotomists for outpatient settings across Southern Arizona. You will collect specimens from all ages, enter data into the system, and prepare samples for testing while following all regulations and standards.

The role may involve coverage at Hospital Facility, PSC, IOP, or Mobile Diagnostic Services, with travel between locations and possible on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy program completion or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Fingerprinting certification may be required.
• Valid state driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
• Enter specimens into the company computer system accurately.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the proper area.
• Follow established policies, procedures and professional standards.
