Job summary

PRC Alliance Pain Relief Centers is hiring a Medical Assistant / Physician Scribe to support physicians with charting and clerical tasks across multiple pain management clinics.

Qualifications

• Must have strong medical terminology and documentation skills.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred; BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior medical scribing or EMR documentation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the physician to clinic locations and document patient encounters in the EMR.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and complete clinical documentation as directed.
• Process referrals and prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
• Index and route medical records; assist with scheduling and daily clinic prep.
• Perform traditional Medical Assistant duties as needed and support team members.
