Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform basic duties and support front desk operations at Westlake locations. The role requires travel to Primary Care UHMSO sites and flexible scheduling to meet patient needs.

Expected responsibilities include managing patient flow, scheduling and verifying patient information, and complying with PHI and UH policies. Experience and CMA certification are preferred, with duties expanding per department orientation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program (Required).
• 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Required).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow.
• Responsible for all front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must maintain PHI per UH policies and procedures.
