Job summary

Mountain Park Health Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a floating Medical Assistant to deliver compassionate patient care across multiple locations. The MA will work in both front and back office roles to support clinicians and patients.

Responsibilities include clinical and administrative tasks, immunization procedures, specimen collection, charting in the EHR, and coordination of patient care with internal health departments. Travel between sites and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to commute to multiple facilities.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of MA Preceptor program or Champion User requirements as needed for assignment.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and non-clinical duties in front and back office.
• Adheres to procedures for immunization and medication administration, including labeling, storing, and utilization.
• Performs CLIA testing instructions; collects specimens, processes and documents results in EHR.
• Fulfills provider orders within scope of practice and provides discharge instructions.
• Assists in coordinating continuity of patient care with internal health departments.
• Maintains supplies in exam rooms and prepares room for patient care and procedures.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards to supervisory staff.
• Interviews patients, takes vital signs, and addresses care needs.
• Utilizes and documents charting for all patient services.
• Travels to multiple locations as assigned; maintains regular attendance.
