Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Fridley, MN is hiring a Medical Assistant to join the Surgical Specialties Clinic. This is a 1.0 FTE position (40 hours per two-week pay period) with benefits eligibility. Clinic hours are Mon–Thu 7:00–18:00 and Fri 7:00–17:00; no weekends.

Eligible for up to a $2,000 New Hire Sign-On Bonus. The Medical Assistant will gather information, support the patient visit, document in the medical record, and collaborate with the care team to promote safe, quality,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care as delegated by the physician/RN.
• Documents care in the medical record.
• Supports patient education and plan of care.
• Prioritizes work based on patient acuity and resources.
• Communicates with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
