Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Mechanical Systems Trainer I to design and deliver training on conveyor and control systems, with emphasis on safety, installation, maintenance and programming. You will develop materials and lead in-person and online sessions for internal staff, customers and dealers, including software training on Exacta.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, travel up to 50%, and the ability to learn AutoStore and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical capabilities required.
• Ability to learn Exacta software and AutoStore hardware.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and delivery of training programs.
• Create training materials including presentations and manuals.
• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for clients and internal staff.
• Attend relevant training sessions and obtain applicable certifications.
• Ensure vendor training content aligns with standards.
• Create introductory online courses.
• Coordinate internal new hire and customer training.
• Stay current on industry training methodologies.
• Contribute to project teams as needed.
