Job summary

Power Design is seeking a strong Mechanical Superintendent who will travel temporarily to our Charlotte market, leading field teams on critical HVAC/mechanical installations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer loyalty while coordinating with multiple trades and the general contractor to resolve conflicts and meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of mechanical/HVAC/plumbing teams on large projects.
• 5+ years as field supervisor managing multimillion-dollar scopes.
• Knowledge of IMC/IPC/IBC and local construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to resolve conflicts and ensure customer service.
• Ensure installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage material and personnel requirements to meet schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.
