Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee daily mechanical construction at the Cedar Rapids work sites. You will schedule workers, coordinate equipment and materials, read prints, and perform take offs for piping, steel and civil jobs to keep projects on track.

Lead foremen, manage safety per OSHA and the company program, track progress and costs, and solve routine field problems. Requires knowledge of conveyors and pumps, welding (SMAW/GTAW), ability to work at height with

Qualifications

• Ability to read prints and perform take-offs for piping, steel, and civil tasks.
• Strong knowledge of conveyors and pumps.
• Welding knowledge (SMAW/GTAW) and ability to operate welding equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pipe fitting, welding, and light mechanical/rigging activities.
• Assess workforce, material, tool, and equipment needs to support the project.
• Analyze productivity trends and adjust work to optimize production.
• Review cost reports and manage job costs within the contract budget.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and the company's safety program.
