Mechanical Calibration Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, and repair instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements, including but not limited to Force, Torque, and Pressure instruments, Optical Comparators, Hardness Testers, and Surface Plates.
• Develop procedures and recommend standards to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate within a team environment to complete tasks efficiently and with high quality.
• Provide on-site support to local clients, with occasional overnight travel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Critical thinking and a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of RF/EMC testing and metrology concepts.
• Ability to work independently following detailed procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to adapt quickly to custom software platforms.
