Job summary

Sud Stop Car Wash is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to keep our car wash facilities running across the Northern Florida and Alabama region. This role blends technical expertise with travel to ensure uptime and reliable service.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to issues, and work with district managers to manage budgets and support 4+ locations. Travel around 50% is expected, including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Must have Car Wash equipment knowledge.
• Willing to travel to locations nationwide.
• Proficient in plumbing and basic electrical work.
• Some welding experience preferred.
• Able to operate common office machines and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support management on preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee facility management across multiple locations.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain company standards and adhere to policies.
• Coordinate maintenance for 4+ locations with District Manager support.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets with District Manager.

TRAVELING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Are you ready to combine your technical expertise with your love for travel? Sud Stop Car Wash seeks a driven, organized, and dedicated Traveling Maintenance Technician to keep our cutting-edge car wash facilities running smoothly across the North West Florida + Alabama region and it could be you!

The annual salary for this position starts at $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience plus bonus eligibility! We offer competitive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. We also offer 401(k) with company match and PTO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support management team on preventative maintenance and repair issues
• Facility management
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain company standards and adhere to policies.
• Oversee maintenance for 4 or more locations with District Manager support
• P&Ls with District Manager support
• Repair and Maintenance Budget with District Manager support

WORK SCHEDULE

• We're open seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Travel 50% or more of the time.
• Weekend, holiday, and night shifts are required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR TRAVELING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

• Must have Car Wash equipment knowledge
• Be willing to travel to all our locations nationwide
• Proficiency in Plumbing
• Some welding experience
• Small motor repair
• Basic facility/building repairs
• Computer and software proficiency
• Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation.
• Able to walk/sit/stand for extended periods.
• Able to operate POS and other typical office machines.
