Job summary

Jones Street Residential seeks a Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities across New Hampshire, traveling between 75 Canal (Manchester) and Windsor Terrace (Hooksett) five days a week.

This role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair, plus responsiveness to work orders, unit turns, and preventive maintenance, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Travel 5 days per week between apartment communities located in New England.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned properties, 75 Canal (Manchester, NH) and Windsor Terrace (Hooksett, NH) 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
• Adapt to varying site needs
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and appliance repair
• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with apartment unit turns, including make-ready repairs and inspections
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize future repairs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendors
• Provide on-call or after-hours emergency maintenance support as required
