Job summary

Jones Street Residential, Inc. is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across our Manchester and Hooksett communities.

You will travel between properties, perform multi-trade repairs, and assist with unit turns to keep properties safe and appealing. Applicants should have at least 3 years of residential maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of apartment/residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple locations with different teams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, between apartment communities located in New England.

Responsibilities

• Travel between properties 75 Canal (Manchester, NH) and Windsor Terrace (Hooksett, NH) five days a week.
• Adapt to varying site needs.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with apartment unit turns, including make-ready repairs and inspections.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize future repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendors.
• Provide on-call or after-hours emergency maintenance support as required.
