Sun Tan City & Buff City Soap is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment and facilities in top condition across Tennessee and North Carolina. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, problem-solving, and willingness to learn new skills.

The position is full-time with 8-hour shifts, travel between franchise locations, and an emphasis on safe, reliable operation of tanning and fitness equipment. A proactive, self-motivated mindset is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Electrical, mechanical, and building materials knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
• Read schematics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on tanning and fitness equipment.
• Repair and maintain tanning beds and spray booths.
• Troubleshoot and trace wiring and electrical issues.
• Replace major and minor equipment components.
• Change lamps in tanning beds.
• Repair and maintain lights, cables, and other equipment.
• Identify and resolve equipment problems in a timely manner.
