Job summary

AB Facility Services is seeking a Mobile Handyman / Maintenance Technician to travel between client sites throughout the DMV area. The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work, with the ability to independently complete maintenance tickets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Commercial building maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of handyman, commercial maintenance, or skilled trades experience.
• Strong hands-on skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between client locations in the DMV area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently.
• Commercial building maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites throughout the DMV area to complete maintenance work orders.
• Perform carpentry repairs, including drywall patching, door repairs, shelving, and hardware installation.
• Complete painting, touch-ups, surface preparation, and finishing.
• Perform plumbing repairs, including leaks, faucets, toilets, and fixtures.
• Complete basic electrical repairs within applicable licensing and safety requirements.
• Document completed work and materials through the company's ticketing system.
• Communicate professionally with clients and follow all safety procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
