Job summary

SoCal Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician based in Temecula to join our Maintenance Strike Team.

You will travel to properties across multiple regions to provide maintenance support and property stabilization, performing unit turns, repairs, and capital improvements. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in multifamily maintenance or construction, strong multi-trade skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of multifamily maintenance or construction experience
• Strong skills across multiple trades; ability to work independently
• Experience with unit turns, renovation projects, or high-volume maintenance environments preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays and occasional extended hours

Responsibilities

• Travel to properties across multiple regions to provide maintenance support and property stabilization
• Perform unit turns, repairs, capital improvement projects, and emergency maintenance work
• Complete skilled tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and basic HVAC
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently with minimal oversight
• Support inspection preparation and rapid project completion timelines
• Work alongside regional teams to maintain company standards and improve property performance
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and project updates
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow OSHA/company safety standards
• Represent the strike team professionally while onsite and provide excellent service to residents and site teams
