Job summary

SoCal Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our elite Maintenance Strike Team based out of the Palm Springs area. This role will travel to properties across multiple regions to perform unit turns and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC basics.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in multifamily maintenance and hold a valid driver’s license. The position offers full-time hours with mileage reimbursement, health/dental/vision coverage,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of multifamily maintenance or construction experience.
• Experience with unit turns, renovation projects, or high-volume maintenance environments.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to properties across regions to provide maintenance support and property stabilization.
• Perform unit turns, repairs, capital improvement projects, and emergency maintenance work.
• Complete skilled tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and basic HVAC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently with minimal oversight.
• Support inspection preparation and rapid project completion timelines.
• Work alongside regional teams to maintain company standards and improve property performance.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and project updates.
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow OSHA/company safety standards.
• Represent the strike team professionally while onsite and provide excellent service to site teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays and occasional extended hours
