Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care for residents in long-term care facilities within a 75-mile radius of the permanent address. The position includes travel, weekend coverage, and premium pay adjustments.

Responsibilities include administering medications, following care plans, and collaborating with the interprofessional team to ensure safety and quality of care. Must have an active LPN license and be prepared for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• If IV therapy is required, North Dakota-specific requirements apply

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team ensuring safety and confidentiality
