Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Miami Correctional Facility team in Bunker Hill, IN. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, and work across facilities as needed by the contract.

Travel LPNs earn up to $2057/week with a non-taxed weekly stipend; benefits include health/dental/vision and a 401(k). Previous travel and corrections experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Indiana.
• Minimum of one year of LPN work experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred; travel nursing experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification active and current.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs across facilities.

We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Indiana, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Indiana
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
