Centurion is seeking a full-time Nights Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients while working under RN and medical staff, across facilities within Indiana.

This travel opportunity offers up to $2,057/week including a non-taxed stipend, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to gain diverse clinical experience while on assignment.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana LPN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification must be current.
• Prior travel nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Indiana Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Nights Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Indiana, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Indiana
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BSL
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
