Job summary

Vector Construction – A Legacy of Strength invites experienced Lead Hands to join our nationwide field teams. You will provide practical, hands-on support, mentor crews, and ensure safe, efficient project execution across diverse sites.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction with leadership in concrete repair, strong communication, and the ability to travel 90–100% with periodic rotations every 4–6 weeks. Valid driver’s license and pre-employment drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in a leadership role and concrete repair methods.
• Nationwide travel for ~90–100% of the time.
• Rotations home every 4 or 6 weeks.
• Per diem, lodging, and transportation provided while traveling.
• Ability to interpret drawings, use tools and machinery, and measure accurately.
• Mentor personnel and manage daily schedules efficiently.
• Strong safety mindset and on-site risk assessments.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; Real IDs required for air travel.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, hands-on support for projects and scopes.
• Maintain company assets including vehicles and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining site records and documents.
• Coordinate with field team and management to meet project goals.
• Promote professional conduct with clients and suppliers.
• Perform additional duties assigned by divisional management.
