Job summary

Hallett Materials in Wall Lake, IA seeks a Traveling Leadperson to manage daily operations at the aggregate plant and supervise production and loadout.

This role requires leadership, safety focus, and the ability to travel as needed; you will train staff, coordinate with Plant and Area Managers, and ensure quality and efficiency.

Candidates should have related experience and be able to perform labor when required; DOT certifications are required and flexibility for schedule is key.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience required; 3-5 years aggregate-related experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and loadout at aggregate plant.
• Lead daily safety checks, HR and safety trainings; address safety concerns.
• Communicate with Plant Manager/Area Manager on personnel, safety, maintenance, production issues.
• Document time, material use, and production; maintain required reports and records.
• Operate equipment and perform tasks per standards; travel as required.
