Job summary

Metro Services Group in Columbia, MO, seeks a Landscape Technician/Specialist to manage grounds and landscape for multi-family communities. The role includes mowing, mulching, weeding, trimming hedges, and maintaining equipment while ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

Travel within the Columbia region is required and some overnight stays may occur. A HS diploma and knowledge of herbicide/pesticide use are preferred; a degree in horticulture is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or Landscape Maintenance is a plus.
• Experience operating lawn care equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage grounds, horticulture and landscape for multi-family communities.
• Care for lawns and beds; mulch, weed, trim around flower beds and paths.
• Apply herbicides/pesticides to control weeds and diseases per safety guidelines.
• Operate hand and power tools; maintain tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisor and report site conditions and needs.
