Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled electrician journeyman to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will read blueprints, follow NEC codes, and ensure safety on job sites while coordinating with helpers and other trades.

The role requires working at heights, operating lifts, and bending conduit, with a focus on craftsmanship, accuracy, and timely project completion in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Understand and comply with OSHA safety requirements.
• Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
• Ability to procure and maintain personal hand tools per company policy.
• Certified to operate platform and boom lifts or able to obtain certification.
• Ability to work at heights up to 90 feet from ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts.
• Capable of bending and installing all types of conduit.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, branch circuit switching, and safety practices.
• Reading blueprints, shop drawings, ladder logic diagrams, and NEC knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Reports to assigned job site location on time.
• Maintains and stores tools, materials, and equipment properly.
• Organizes materials and tools to keep work area clean.
• Dig trenches as needed with hand tools or equipment.
• Mounts and installs conduit, wires, and hardware as directed.
• Interprets electrical drawings and terminates cables.
• Performs routine safety inspections and documents them.
• Directs and trains Helpers and Apprentices in proper work practices.
