Job summary

EPI Power is hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician for project-site leadership in Cedar Rapids, IA. This non-union, travel-heavy role focuses on oversight of electrical installations, safety, and compliance with NEC and local codes.

You will mentor crews, interpret drawings, coordinate with project managers, and travel between sites to deliver high-quality electrical work on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Valid Master Electrician License or Journeyman Electrical License is required.
• Extensive experience in electrical construction and leadership.
• Experience in data centers or large-scale commercial/industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level oversight on electrical installations and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Supervise and mentor electricians, apprentices, and field staff.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Support safety programs and ensure site safety requirements are met.
• Collaborate with project managers and trade leads to align schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
• Maintain documentation and records of work performed.
