Aerotek is seeking a traveling Journeyman Electrician for a 3–5 year data center project in Fargo, ND, with a Denver, CO-based assignment. Expect 60–65 hours per week, a $63/hr rate, and a $150 per diem if lodging is your responsibility. A $5,000 bonus is available after 90 days on site.

Responsibilities include power distribution, conduit work, wiring, and supervising apprentices. Leadership and data center experience are valued, with a fully onsite, long-term contract-to-hire arrangement.

Job Title: Traveling Journeyman Electrician - $63/hr + $150 Per diem

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians for a 3-5 year project on a data center located in Fargo, ND. This project focuses on power distribution and electrical infrastructure for a large-scale, mission-critical facility. Hours are between 60-65 per week. Bonus: $5,000 bonus after 90-days on site.

Responsibilities

• Focus on power distribution and electrical infrastructure.

• Work on conduit, electrical wiring, and blueprint reading.

• Engage in construction, schematics, and cable installation.

• Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and lighting installation.

• Run conduit, install lighting, switches, terminations, panels, and troubleshoot electrical issues.

• Direct and guide pods of 4 apprentice-level electricians.

• Provide field leadership.

Essential Skills

• Experience with conduit, electrical wiring, blueprint reading, construction, schematics, and cable installation.

• Skills in bending conduit, terminating, switch panels, low voltage, medium voltage, transistors, lighting, emt, commercial construction, commercial electrical, and electrical schema.

• Ability to run conduit, pull wire, install lighting, switches, terminations, panels, and perform troubleshooting.

• Experience in industrial electrical wiring, installation, repair, conduit bending, pulling wire, cable, blueprint reading, electrical troubleshooting, installation, and pipe bending.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a Journeyman or Masters Electrician license.

• Strong preference for candidates who have worked on a data center.

• Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Experience North Dakota's winter elements while working primarily under a covered facility. The project operates Monday to Friday, with 12-hour shifts from 6 am to 6 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63.00 - $63.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
