Champion Metal Works seeks a traveling Iron Worker Welder/Fabricator to support field erection and shop fabrication on multi-week assignments across California. Overnight shifts and extensive travel are required, with welding certification and 3–5 years of ironwork experience essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of iron work experience.
• 232 structural welding certification required.
• OSHA 10 certificate preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work overnight.

Responsibilities

• Assist field foreman with site preparation and erection.
• Perform structural welding on projects.
• Load/unload materials and tools for daily operations.
• Travel to job sites; stay out of town for up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Support fabrication work in shop and field environments.
• Operate welders and shop equipment safely; maintain clean work area.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
