CompleteRx is seeking a dynamic Transitional/Interim Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and strategic direction at partnered hospitals with heavy travel requirements. The role leads the pharmacy department during a transitional period, ensuring compliance and seamless transfer of duties.

Ideal candidates have extensive pharmacy management experience, licensure in the assignment state, and comfort with project work, system installs, and inter-facility coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited Pharmacy School with a BS Pharmacy or higher degree.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of assignment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pharmacy management experience required, 7+ years preferred.
• 80%-100% overnight travel (4 nights per week on average). Travel will be overnight in hotels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Lead the pharmacy department and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct daily operations of the department and medication distribution.
• Lead or assist with projects such as automated dispensing cabinets and system installs.
• Provide interim service as an assistant director of pharmacy or staff pharmacist.
• Facilitate rapid cycle process improvement events.
• Prepare workflow maps, policy documents and training materials.
• Collaborate with hospital administration and CompleteRx initiatives.
