CompleteRx is seeking a dynamic Transitional/Interim Director of Pharmacy to guide hospital pharmacy operations during a leadership transition. The role requires extensive travel (80%), with assignments across FL, GA, and TX as needed.

The incumbent will lead the pharmacy department, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate rapid cycle improvements while supporting the incoming director and hospital administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited Pharmacy School with a BS Pharmacy or higher degree.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of assignment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pharmacy management experience required, 7+ years preferred.
• 80%-100% overnight travel (4 nights per week on average).

Responsabilités

• Complete projects on time, within budget, and with a high level of quality.
• Act as the subject matter expert on pharmacy operations.
• Directs the daily operations of the department in delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, psychiatric, obstetric, and oncology patients.
• Oversees regulatory compliance with USP 797 guidelines, JC or DNV requirements, 340B (if applicable), and state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Oversees controlled substance accountability including inventories, discrepancies, and audits.
• Responsible for the medication distribution process including turnaround times and overrides.
• Facilitate rapid cycle process improvement events and develop workflows and training materials.
• Function as a facilitator of rapid cycle improvement events and OSR projects.
• Prepare workflow maps, data, policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Participate in company initiatives to achieve corporate objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
