Job summary

CompleteRx is seeking a dynamic Transitional/Interim Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and strategic direction at partnered hospitals. This role requires extensive travel (80%) as an interim DOP until a hospital DOP is hired, and involves liaison work between CompleteRx and hospital administration.

The position emphasizes change management, project leadership, and staff development, with duties ranging from OSR to IV validations and system implementations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited Pharmacy School with a BS Pharmacy or higher degree.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of assignment.
• Pharmacy management experience required, 7+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the pharmacy department and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead or support projects including automated dispensing cabinet installs and pharmacy IT upgrades.
• Oversee 340B, USP 797, and state/federal pharmacy laws; ensure safe medication distribution.
